What is a CSA?

A CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and is an opportunity for customers to purchase a small share of the next seasons crops. This helps Farmers with upfront costs of farming earlier in spring before the crops start to produce sellable items. Read more about how our CSA works below.

Whats the Flax Hollow Farm CSA?

When you purchase a Flax Hollow Farm CSA you’ll receive a punch card for six bouquets this will allow you the flexibility to use on bouquets of your choosing throwout the 2026 season.

How much is the Flax Hollow CSA?

For $165 you’ll receive a six bouquet punch card. this punch card can be used for any six bouquets or bunches of flowers priced $15-$30.

Where can I use my Punch card?

You can use it at our self service flower fridge or request a bouquets for a special date through email. Our self service flower fridge will have premade bouquets and mix and match bunch options. Fridge will be restocked every Friday with the freshest flower from that weeks harvests.

What kind of flowers/bouquets can I expect?

I grow a large array of flowers. Though I can not guarantee the success of future crops, these are some of the flowers I plan to grow for the 2026season. Spring/early summer daffodils, ranunculus, poppies, snap dragons, plus greenery/filler. Summer/Fall cosmos, zinnias, marigolds, sunflowers, gladiolus, Dahlias, delphinium, celosia plus greenery/filler. Each Year I try and bring new and interesting flowers to our farm and cultivate last years fan favorites.

When can I use my CSA?

At any point in the 2026 season. It can be used for spring, summer or fall flowers. It’s really up to you! Our season generally starts in the beginning of April and lasts through beginning of October.

Can I combine Multiple punches to purchase a bouquet over $30?

No. Punch one bunch one purchase.

What happens if I don’t use all 6 punches by the end of the season?

Its your responsibility as the costumers to use your CSA to its full potential. If you have unused punches at the end of the season you will not receive a credit or refund. your card is only good for the 2026 season. CSAs are used to cover upfront costs early in the season and will be directly invested into flowers grown for the 2026season. If you use all 6 punches before the season over CSA members will have an opportunity to purchase a second punch card in starting in July.

What if I lose my punch card?

Don’t worry about it- you will receive a physical card but also we have a data base to track how many punches have been used by each CSA member. If you lose your physical card we’ll have replace it for you for free.

Whats a farm tour?

This year I’ll be offering CSA members two opportunities to tour the farm. This will be a walk around our farm, tours of the flower fields, a chance to learn more about what I do and ask any questions you may have. You will also have a chance to take photos in the flower fields if you wish.
